You're cherrypicking your regimes here.

The authoritarian regimes of the Middle East are right wing, intolerant of minorities, pro religion, resented by the mass of the population.

The authoritarian regime of say, Russia, is right-wing, pro-religion and supported by the mass of the population.

The authoritarian regime of China can't really be categorised as firmly right or left (it contains elements of both), intolerant of minorities, anti-religion and supported by the mass of the population.

The authoritarian regime of North Korea is left wing, intolerant of minorities, supports only the religion of the Kim Dynasty, and is resented by the mass of the population.

Etc.
