You seem to be arguing against a point in your head not the actual point I made in my comment. I never said that “because I’m not trans, no one is trans”. In fact if you’ll read my comment again I say that for some kids their gender experimentation may lead to them actually being trans, but for many it may not, and that I support kids being free to choose their own path without parents putting labels on them too early.

As for your claim about the rigorous checks and balances in the transition process, it would be great if in real life it worked like this all the time. However there is a strong push from some in the transgender movement to do away with things like having psychological assessment before going on hormones, or having doctors assess you for months to years before you transition. Apparently that’s “transmedicalist” or “truscum” gatekeeping. Look it up if you don’t believe me. So forgive me for seeing these trends and being concerned.
