Yeah I didn’t date at all while I was a teenager. It wasn’t that I didn’t have sexual or romantic feelings, it’s just that they usually weren’t for my classmates, more for fictional characters or celebrities. I was aware these feelings were crushes, and was happy to have really high standards so the people I went to school with didn’t really appeal to me much.
Also I probably didn’t appeal to them much either, as I was a geeky person, fond of books, and not particularly pretty.
