Wow. Thank you for this. Of course the media reported on it as if her being a "Pretendian" was confirmed. But you have convinced me otherwise. It's disgusting that some people will go so far to try and smear a person who showed more commitment to Native causes than most. Sad when Indigenous people perpetuate ideas like blood quantum too.
