While I agree that there is a lot of conditioning going into things like whether you like the idea of a kink or not…

I don’t like the idea that you “can’t say no to a kink unless you’ve tried it”.

I don’t need to try certain things to know I don’t want them. I don’t need to try kinks involving pain, humiliation, choking, degradation etc because I already know I’m not into that.

It’s like saying to a lesbian “how do you know you don’t want dick until you’ve tried it” — there is no obligation to try it. At all.

Being free to explore things you like = good. Being free to unlearn conditioning that certain pleasurable activities with consenting adults is “not what good girls do” = good.

Thinking you have to try a kink to know if you like it or not = bad.
