When I started reading your article I guessed immediately that it was a yeast infection. That happens to me quite frequently and it's NOT because you "did something wrong", it's not a punishment, it's not bad karma, it can happen to women who don't have sex for years or virgins, it has no reflection on your choices to have sex with your lover AT ALL.

Also, even if it was herpes, so what? Herpes is painful and that sucks but it's not worth hating yourself over. Majority of people in the WORLD have herpes. It's ridiculously common. If you got herpes, it wouldn't be a sign that you need to hate yourself, nor a sign that you're punished for trying to have good sex with someone.
