When I clicked that article that you link above about Pastel Q, it doesn't seem to be claiming that Pastel Q is deliberately done to "launder the conspiracy theory" but rather that it's a description of a pattern of how the Qanon belief morphs through different communities and different people. Of course a person who before they believed in Q had a pretty crystal themed Instagram focusing on tarot and lightworkers, would continue to post under the same aesthetic once they believed in Q. It's not like it seems to be claiming that Q is creating these pastel accounts from scratch to lure people in, right?
Also I know that "save the children" and "stop child trafficking" are terms that have been co-opted by Qanon, but I worry that according to the linked article that wanting to stop child trafficking is now seen by "counterterrorism" as automatically being Qanon. But someone can be a completely normal, good person, and want to stop child trafficking. So how are they supposed to talk about that online if it's all going to be flagged as a Q dogwhistle?
