Well that’s terrifying. Now I worry I have this condition. I have a lazy eye on the left side, and ever since I was a child if I squinted at bright light I could see tiny black specks reflecting in my left eye. Only one or two but noticeable. I’ve told optometrists about it and they say it’s likely cells stuck to my retina. It doesn’t seem to get worse though. Now when you say black specks I worry that’s what I have.
