Well said! Exactly! It’s not training you to be cold and numb and self centred, it’s training you to accept that life contains joy and sorrow, that the nature of life is change, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself as individuals and thus we learn to feel love for all that exists, because we realise we are non-dual. As such I and my partner have come to feel greater keenness of feeling, greater empathy, greater compassion and yes — transcendence. And once you achieve that liberation you can then go boldly forth and help others.
