Well said. I see the "hypergamous" myth as ridiculous. People claim that because an individual woman doesn't want to date 80% of men it's proof hypergamy is real. But each individual woman has very specific interests and things that she wants in a partner. Collectively, more than 80% of men will be attractive to someone. It's just a question of finding the right person, which is about being honest with yourself about what you really want in life.
