Very very true. I went to a coed school and it was FINE. In fact, I didn’t get distracted by boys at all, I didn’t wear makeup or do anything special to impress them, and I just saw them as normal people. Some were cool, some were assholes. Just like some girls were cool and some were assholes.

Of course, I got a crush on a couple of them, but to be honest, being around them more actually made me idealise them less, and I ended up crushing more on fictional characters or celebrities during that time.
