Um.... I haven't seen that to be the case with most Britney Spears fans. Most fans who campaigned to "FreeBritney" understand she may never want to perform again. And that after experiencing so much abuse she will likely have lasting mental scars. Most fans who campaigned for Free Britney would rather Britney retired from public life and lived a quiet private happy life (if that's what she wants), than be forced to perform and release new music if she doesn't want to.
I hope Britney is able to find healing, whether that means she stops being a celebrity and just lives a private life, or whether it means she has a comeback on her own terms - I'm sure she will still have mental health help. But mentally ill people have rights. Being threatened with being sectioned if she didn't perform in a concert? Forced to take meds as punishment? That wasn't helping her!
