To an extent I know what you mean, sometimes being a woman in a male dominated industry is an advantage. I work in corporate sales, and I can tell you, being a young, pretty, charming woman is an ADVANTAGE in this business in many ways. Because most of the "decision makers" are still men, and most corporate sales people are brash, arrogant young men. That's who these CEOs/CFOs are used to dealing with, so having a pretty woman laugh at their jokes, nod sympathetically at their problems, and play along with their flirtatious games, it makes them more likely to do what you want. (And boy does it work!)

But when I sell to women, I play the "sisterhood" card.

I guess that's what "womanly wiles" means. ;)
