This is well written. Nice to see a perspective about “waiting” that isn’t judgemental.

I too waited a long time to have sex. I didn’t want to wait for marriage, but I waited to fall in love. Because I wanted to feel safe and secure and valued for more than my body. And I’m so glad I did, that was the right choice for me.
