This is incorrect. With shrooms you don't know how much you're taking. You can be taking far too much without realising. You also don't know if the mushrooms contain other toxins.
How do I know this? My fiance took what he thought was "a small dose" of psilocybin mushrooms in 2017, and he had a complete psychotic break from reality, believed a loved one who was with him at the time was a terrorist trying to kill him, and shot her dead while thinking he was acting in self defence. In my opinion shrooms are more dangerous than acid.
And I say that as someone who has taken both in the past and I would never take shrooms ever again having witnessed my fiance in the psychotic state he developed. Now a good person is dead, and another good person is in prison for at least a decade.
Do NOT underestimate the risk of psilocybin. I also used to think it was the safer of the psychedelics. It's not. Especially if you have a preexisting mental illness. (If you do, only do it with a therapist).
I'm not saying psychedelics are the devil, I believe they have amazing power for good but please take what I say to heart and understand that psilocybin can be EXTREMELY dangerous if you're not aware of the fact you could be taking far more than you think you are.
