The reason I don't shave down there is because after a day or so, the new growth becomes prickly, itchy and gets a "chicken-skin" look. Not sexy to me at least. If I wanted to stay smooth I would need to shave almost every day, and I can't be bothered, OR I would have to get a Brazilian wax and that would be super painful.

What I do instead is trim the hair until it is no more than 1cm long all over, it feels soft to touch then, not prickly, but isn't so thick as to be a wilderness.
