The irony being that according to Kinsey research, the majority of people in the world would actually be on the bisexual spectrum! So we should expect to see more and more people identifying as bi and that is a GOOD THING.

Like based on people I know in real life, even those who identify as "straight" or "gay" have feelings that others would call bisexual. My "straight" brother told me when I came out "I think everyone is a bit bisexual" and later told me how he would "be gay for Pewdiepie" (this was 10 years ago, before the antisemitism scandal). My "gay" best friend tells me all the time "I would fuck Megan Thee Stallion". My partner identifies as mostly straight but also talks about how he enjoyed having sex with boys when he was young, and how he sometimes wants to kiss and touch his male friends (although he doesn't want to have full sex with them).

According to the Kinsey scale they would be on the bisexual spectrum. But because they lean more towards homosexual or heterosexual they like to identify with that rather than bisexual. Which is fair enough.

But the point is, we should expect to see more and more people identify as bisexual and in fact from history we've seen that in other time periods homosexual activity was extremely common to the point that most people engaged in bisexual behaviour as we would define it today. For example in Ancient Rome and Greece men had both male lovers and wives and it was considered normal.

The entire Spartan army was expected to engage in some level of homosexual behaviour so like - that would indicate that there was a degree of bisexuality present in most of them.
