That's a weird metric to base an entire friendship on. If I *really really* needed a ride to an airport, my family would likely help. But calling someone in the middle of the night, inconveniencing them, when I could just as easily take public transport or an Uber, is not exactly the way I want to test my friends? Like part of friendship is about being there for THEM too, I am not going to judge my friends (one of whom doesn't even have a license) because they can't drop everything and drive me to the airport. Emotional support is more important, and I would rather wait until I *really needed* to call in a favour rather than just ask my friend to majorly inconvenience themselves when it's not an inconvenience for me to get to the airport by myself.
