THANK YOU. My partner’s experience is one of the statistically small horror stories. He became completely psychotic on magic mushrooms, hallucinated that a loved one was a terrorist trying to kill him, and shot her dead. He’s now in prison. Lives can be destroyed by psychedelics. (He did have predisposition for psychosis before so I have so doubt his mental illness was made way worse).

At the same time psychedelics can facilitate some of the most wonderfully life changing experiences in the right set and setting. I’ve had the most beautiful and profound moments in my life on psychedelics, and they persist with me today. At the same time, for my partner, his unintended victim and me, they can create the worst moments in one’s life as well.

So BE CAREFUL.
