Something about this story doesn't ring true. I don't know exactly what it is. I think it's the self-aggrandisement that is underneath everything.

Who says that about themselves?
You also say "It's not that I'm not scared" - but then you say "I haven't felt fear in 20 years". So which is it? Either you frequently feel fear and "do it anyway" as you say to your daughter, or you hadn't felt fear for 20 years before this 3 second moment before jumping.
I also don't believe you were chased around Istanbul by terrorists.
The other thing is the "About Christopher" section. Every single sentence starts with "Christopher". It's overwhelming. Kind of narcissistic if you ask me.
