So you don’t think writing of a desire to “smell Jesus’s garments” and smile into his (male) Lover’s eyes is the height of joy and ecstasy, indicates at least some feelings of sexuality towards men?

You’re in denial dude. Straight men don’t fantasise about smelling another man’s clothes nor do they call another man “Lover”. The fact this man was Jesus doesn’t change things.

Maybe Jim was bisexual, maybe he wasn’t totally gay. But he was definitely not totally straight.
