You’re putting words in her mouth that she never said to invalidate her point. I’m sorry you were abused at home, that’s horrendous. That doesn’t mean that homeschooling in general is more prone to abuse than other forms of education. As SimmerGirl points out, if you’re at home you can be abused by your family, if you’re at school you can be abused by your peers or your teachers. Abuse happens across the board, fixing it does not involve demonising homeschooling.
