Or maybe he would have killed himself even faster because he felt even more like he wasn't being listened to? Self-immolation is the biggest and most dramatic way that you can get eyes on your beliefs and causes that doesn't involve harming other people.
I don't think censorship is the answer here. I think community is the answer. If this man had actual friends in his life, physical friends, who could have gotten him help, I think that would have helped him more.
Also, I read Azzarello's pamphlet - some of it is clearly delusional stuff, however there is stuff in there that is pretty insightful. Stuff like the rich and powerful inflaming culture war rhetoric to keep the masses fighting each-other.
