But why do you need to ghost? Simply send a quick message explaining to the woman why. Ghosting is incredibly painful especially if someone else felt that things went well. For all you know she's now blaming herself for not being enough.

Ghosting is cowardly. Ending things? Perfectly fine. Just communicate.
