Not wanting to hookup or have one night stands doesn't mean that you don't want to have sex. Maybe more people are realising (especially women) that sex with strangers is often unfulfilling and unenjoyable. Those who are into it, great, but there was a big culture around hooking up that has lost its appeal and honestly, I can see why. The average woman doesn't orgasm with heterosex unless she's with someone who gives a shit about her body and her unique experience of pleasure, and a one night stand usually doesn't do that. Meanwhile #MeToo has made both women AND men more wary of situations where consent may be ambiguous such as when people are drunk, ie when people would be more likely to hookup. And FYI I don't think all drunk sex is rape, because what if both people are equally drunk? But still it's not wise especially with someone who you don't know.
