My favourite documentary of all time is "Unity" (2015). It made me cry with how beautiful it was. It made me a vegan. Unlike its prequel "Earthlings" (which is also an incredible documentary) it's not as unrelentingly depressing and heartbreaking. There are some sad moments but overall the story of "Unity" is profoundly uplifting and hopeful about humanity's place in the world and how we can end war and suffering.

I also recommend "2040", an Australian documentary that looks at how with current technology that already exists, we can reverse climate change.

I recommend literally anything and everything David Attenborough has ever made.

Also recommend Louis Theroux documentaries, in particular the ones where he looks into hateful subcultures such as Nazis and cults like the Westboro Baptist Church! Utterly fascinating!

Finally the Netflix series "My Love", which is about 6 couples that have been together for more than 40 years each. Absolutely heartwarming and restores your faith in the possibility of soulmates and enduring love. Marriage goals for sure!!
