Louis CK didn’t rape people that’s why. He asked for consent to masturbate in front of people, so he didn’t do anything illegal.

Did he abuse his power and were the people he asked to masturbate in front of, did they awkward and uncomfortable in saying no? Absolutely.

Did Louis CK realise that he was abusing his power and that people felt they would suffer possible career consequences for saying no to him? Unclear. I would say he probably did but it’s difficult to prove. And he can always claim to be socially awkward and not read cues and maybe it’s true.

Is that the same as rape though? No.
