LOL this is why I don't use Fetlife anymore. I find that kinky people tend to make it part of their identity, and box themselves into certain kinds of activities like that's all they can do during sex. I mean, if that's what they want, go for it, but personally while I might get fun out of things like D/s, roleplays, bondage etc, and I am pretty experimental, I don't like identifying myself as a kink. I'm not "a Domme" or "a sub", I can be either or I can be neither, depending on how I feel. And if that's what " a switch" I find this kind of lame, because that's just a word to describe someone who is flexible? And aren't we all flexible to an extent?

But then, I'm not really into random kink, I do it in the context of my long term relationship, not for others. I guess that's the difference between "kink" which I use the way someone who owns an extensive spice cabinet can flavour different meals at whim, and "fetish" where someone needs chilli in every single meal or else they won't enjoy it. And Fetlife seems to be more for the fetishists, which power to them, but I'm not really part of it.

I used to be paid to be a Dominatrix though, which was fun for a while, but my sub was emotionally manipulative, trying to get me to engage in free roleplays with him, when that was not the agreement and showing up to my house randomly without warning. I eventually blocked him.
