Lee-Gwen, I think trans people should be able to access all the services they need. And I don’t give a sh*t about bathrooms etc, trans people aren’t a danger or anything. In fact I think we should have more gender neutral bathrooms in general.

I do believe in a certain amount of gatekeeping though, for kids anyway. That there should be psychological assessments done on trans people and trans kids to make sure that they are aware of all their options to make sure medical transition is really what would make them happy. Cause I know some trans people have other issues going on that mean that medical transition can end up not solving those issues and exacerbate depression. Because medical care can be expensive, and I don’t believe only rich people should be able to access care, I believe in Medicare for All which we have in my country. We also have free psychotherapy as well. All countries should have this.
