Kathy was saying "you" at ME not the author of the article.

And if you think that it makes sense for someone to change as you say "EVERYTHING THEY DO AND SAY", it's unrealistic and ridiculous to imply that every single thing a white person does throughout their entire life needs to be changed because every single thing is somehow racist.

Really? Think about what you're saying. That I (someone who isn't American) should change every word I say, the way I go to the toilet, the way I read a book, the way I open my laptop, the way I say "hello how are you" to my friends, the way I dress, the way I walk, the way I eat, the way I watch a movie, the way I hug my loved ones, the way I pet my cat, the way I have sex. The political isn't THAT personal to that insane extent.

If that's what's being demanded of me then I am going to say right now I WILL NOT. Because that is just so ridiculously over the top and unrealistic, I cannot change everything in my entire life because 1. that would change everything about who I am as a person and erase who I am 2. who is to say that I would be a better or less racist person by changing everything about myself? Change isn't always for the better.

Also, you, who know nothing about my life, or what I do in it, have no right to tell me that it's racist. BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT MY LIFE IS LIKE. You do not have an informed perspective on my specific circumstances just like I don't have an informed perspective on your specific circumstances.

I would never dream of telling you how to live your life or that your way of life is racist unless I saw evidence that it was, as a random person on the internet I have no idea, just as YOU have no idea.

It's not "white fragility" it's just facts. Funny that only a white person saying this is considered fragility though because literally ANY race confronted with this accusation would respond the same way, but I don't hear "Asian fragility" or "Central American fragility" or "brown fragility".
