It's true! If you watch his interviews or his time on SNL you can really see his appeal. His personality is really appealing. Like you say, he's funny and chill, but in a way that feels like it's just his genuine self, rather than a performance.

There's a great series of videos by SNL called "the Chad saga" where Pete plays "Chad", an incredibly chill and clueless guy who just goes "ok" to whatever people say. So when women show that they're attracted to him, he's like "ok" and then they say "no I shouldn't" he goes "ok" in the same tone of voice and it's all about how Chad just really respects consent and has good boundaries. I feel like this was based on Pete's actual personality but of course really exaggerated in the "dumb" department.
