It's so important for spiritual people to find at least one other that is on their level that can see them and remind them of who they are.

For me that's my partner. It's so helpful because without that, what my partner and I call "The Amnesia" is prone to happen. Which is that the feeling of spiritual enlightenment can fade, and you can forget the insights that you had, and start to doubt and fear again, and start to wonder if you were just engaging in wishful thinking.

That's caused by too much exposure to and involvement with people who don't "get" you.

But if you have someone who reminds you of the truth of what you've experienced and reminds you of who you are, and you can do the same for them, you are stronger. You are not alone.

And that's true for community as well.
