It’s interesting that you identify that as being a form of bigotry, yet you yourself said that you DID end up changing and becoming allosexual, and that you did want something else as time went on. So the “bigots” were right. They shouldn’t have said it but it was a correct prediction in this case.

It would have been valid to not change, and it’s also valid to change. But I’ve heard people say asexuality is an unchangeable identity, like you can’t change being gay, you can’t change being ace. I think that’s the problems with some of these hard and fast labels. It hides the fact that people are fluid.

People shouldn’t bother other people about their sexual attraction/lack of sexual attraction, same as they shouldn’t bother people about whether they do or do not want kids. They may change their mind one day, they may not, but why does someone need to make a prediction anyway?
