It's interesting, because I identify with JK's "sexless" mind. I am feminine now, and biologically female. But as a child I dressed as a boy, I had short hair and was mistaken for a boy multiple times. I identified with George from Famous Five. Am I trans or NB? No. Because gender is a qualia, and I have no idea of how "the feeling of being me" compares with other women or men's "feeling of being themselves". I don't have dysphoria about my body, so I consider myself to be a woman, and I now enjoy dressed in a flamboyant feminine way. But I have always identified more with male characters in fiction, I pretended to be Han Solo, not Leia, I pretended to be Frodo, not Arwen, etc.

And for the record I don't think JK is actually transphobic. She just doesn't believe that trans women are biologically female, and that's just scientific fact. She said she supports trans peoples' right to live free of fear and discrimination, but that doesn't have to translate to "I believe you are identical to a cis woman in my deepest heart of heart".
