It’s hypocritical asking atheists to keep quiet when religious people can go around however they want proclaiming that their god is the true one, unbelievers go to hell, being gay is a sin etc.

Most atheists have 0 problems with people having personal faith.

The issue with religion being part of the state is that it then interferes with other people’s ability to live how THEY want because it offends religious sensibilities.
