Indeed, and the "you" that is beyond the ego, is beyond death. At least in the "final, ending" way we traditionally think of as death. I think of it as more universal consciousness, expressing in different patterns at different layers. For example the cells of my body are individually conscious in their own way. But the "system" that is the human being is also conscious. As is (I believe) the ecosystem that I am as a cell in a larger body.

"This simply is a cosmic system where births and deaths are transitions from level to level".

When I die as a human it doesn't mean every single one of my cells will die at the same time.
