In what way did I benefit from American slavery? In a way that non-white non-Americans don't also benefit the same way? Note: my country, white people do have a legacy of benefitting from other horrendously racist things in our history, but it's not American slavery.

Anyway, if you think all white people are "morally bankrupt and rotten to the core" then there's no point even talking to me is there? Or trying to convince racist people to change? Because according to you, white people are rotten to the core and thus would never change. (It makes me wonder who all those white people who marched with MLK were, but I guess they were doing it for some nefarious reason).

As for colonisers, historically "white people" have been colonisers absolutely, and committed horrendous atrocities against Black and Brown spaces and lands. I don't deny that.

Is that a result of our lack of melanin though, to the point that every single white person today shares some genetic predisposition to evil? If you look throughout history you will see that Black people are more than capable of committing horrendous violence against each other (Rwandan genocide for example, the African warlords who sold their Black enemies into slavery so they could maintain power in their own kingdoms). The Ottoman empire was horrific in its brutal "colonising", as was the Mongol empire. The Japanese Empire committed mass slaughter and rape against the Chinese in WWII. The Aztecs committed human sacrifice.

At what point do we decide that these things define a race of people? At its point in history the Mongol empire killed 11% of the entire human species during its "colonising". Should we therefore define all Asian people as "morally bankrupt and rotten to the core"? If not, why not? At what point do we not just hold descendants of people who committed mass evil accountable but *define their entire race/culture as uniquely evil*?

This isn't to downplay or dismiss how uniquely horrible colonising was by white people but more to point out that it's not a genetic evil that white people have that people of other races do not. Every race has the ability to be "morally bankrupt".

If it is impossible for you to see white people as humans with any redeeming qualities, how can there ever be any progress in racial equality? Because if you see white people that way, logically it would appear that killing us all is the only way forwards, right? Or complete separatism? Why even try to coexist if we're this irredeemably evil?
