I'm really happy for you that you were able to listen to yourself. I have worried about having addictive tendencies in the past, and still do sometimes. I had an eating disorder for years because I was terrified that if I didn't restrict myself from what I enjoyed, I would lose control and become addicted to food and become obese. Which was ridiculous. When I actually recovered (and I wrote about it on my blog if you're interested) it involved training myself to notice when I felt that sense of "enough" and trusting my body to know when enough is enough.

I think that's true for anything. Relaxing into the present. Knowing that what you have is enough. Trusting your own judgement.

Thank you for sharing.
