I wonder if it’s a type of synaesthesia?

I have auditory-tactile synaesthesia where certain sounds make me feel like someone is touching me on the back or poking me in the kidneys. Ticklish but not painful.

Theoretically, synaesthesia can take almost unlimited forms, it’s just where one sensation evokes another. You can have touch-colour synaesthesia, which I’ve experienced while high before, where people touching me makes me see colours.

So perhaps these people have touch-emotion synaesthesia?
