I used to be like this when I had an eating disorder. It actually made me get dissociated about whether I was hungry or not. When I first started recovery I used an app that would prompt me to rate my feelings of hunger and fullness before and after meals. However for a few weeks I couldn't tell. Slowly I learned to recognise my body's cues again. Thank goodness! Now I eat intuitively!
