I think the biggest argument against Lily winning Best Actress is that she was really Best Supporting Actress. She had less screentime than Robert De Niro who was up for Best Supporting Actor. Whereas Emma Stone was playing the undisputed main character and POV of Poor Things. Her screentime was double that of Gladstone's.

I would have been happy if Lily had won but I must say as a big fan of Poor Things and someone who thinks it was the best film of the year, I'm glad to see Emma win for that.
