I think instead of approaching dating like a checklist:
"Must be X tall, must have X amount of money etc"
Get to know men as people. Become friends with them. Friendship is the emotion that will last a lifetime even when you're old and grey and passion has faded.
It doesn't matter whether a man has a certain amount of money now. Marriage is partnership. What matters more is whether you BOTH can achieve your joint financial goals together in the future.
It doesn't matter how tall he is, it matters what his values are, what he wants in life, and how he treats you. This shows compatibility.
My husband is my best friend. He's unable to earn money right now, so I am the breadwinner, and very good at it I might add. Everyone's life journey is different.
