I really hate this trend in Twitter. You see it for so many things.

"trans women are women" x 8

"black lives matter" x 8

"wear a fucking mask" x 8

"trust the science" x 8

"vaccines save lives" x 8

"defund the police" x 8

etc

Doesn't matter whether the statement is something I agree with or not. The repetition within the same tweet is obnoxious and comes across as "if I repeat something enough times, people HAVE to agree".

It actually does a disservice to the statement being said, because it implies that it can't justify itself using any argument except repetition.
