I personally think she should just continue making videos without directly communicating with people online. Disable comments on YouTube. Don’t have a twitter. Just make the quality videos she’s always made, and step back from the crazies in the online leftist community. Let her videos stand for themselves. Surround herself with real life people she trusts.

From experience, Twitter especially is a disgusting cellpit of reactionaries where vitriol is the norm, and all nuance is lost.

Contra is the queen of nuance. She needs to realise that “extreme leftist Twitter” and for that matter leftist Youtube, is not representative of the wider world. Immersing yourself in online communities like this is bad for your mental health.
