I much prefer this kind of thing than specific power dynamics of BDSM. I have been tied by my partner a couple of times using a silk kimono, but my favourite way to be restrained is actually to be pinned down by his body weight and hands. I love it. I have a tendency to be "overcontrolled" in certain aspects of my life and so being pinned down, it somehow makes me feel free to squirm and writhe around and let loose with however I react to pleasure? I feel safe doing so within my partner's loving restraint.

I think the difference between BDSM and the sort of thing I enjoy, is that BDSM seems to be more about the "dynamic" and "the scene" and less about the two individuals sharing intimacy. Everything I do sexually, I want to be extremely intimate and loving, and to not be limited by roles like "Dom" and "sub" etc.
