I mean tbh Holly Shannon wasn’t doing that to you. You are free to write your own article in response to her. Which you have. Several in fact. She didn’t silence you.

Her blog, her rules. Your blog, your rules.

I say this as someone who has disagreed with Shannon before as you know.

Also, it is your responsibility to decide whether to click on or read her work. Deciding to come to her blog and read it, means you can’t really blame her for “hurting you" for having an opinion you don’t like.

I happen to agree with you that losing weight isn’t inherently fatphobic.

But I also know that Shannon’s obesity is caused by a condition that means she can’t lose weight the way you can. So I understand that her opinion is shaped by this.
