I mean Joe, wouldn't she have had to stay inside and avoid everyone even if everyone did the right thing, wore masks, got vaccinated etc? The lockdowns would have happened, the delta variant would still have spread... Her freedom would still have been curtailed.

It's very sad. My dad works in a nursing home, and a resident there killed herself because of lockdown. She wasn't able to see her loved ones and that was the only thing that made her life worth living.

If she had gotten COVID, she would have died. But the anti-COVID measures killed her too. As such, there is no "good" outcome, sometimes.
