I mean, I felt obsessed with him during the honeymoon phase. But I could still eat and sleep. I didn't feel "physically ill" with anxiety about him.

I did feel this way during a limerent episode with a woman though, during COVID. It was far less about "enjoyable butterflies and anticipation and joy" than it was "obsessive anxiety about whether she reciprocated my feelings or not" to the point I really did feel sick with it.
