I liked this article except for the part about it being a great idea to join a church.

Churches are incredibly oppressive power structures in and of themselves that screw over many of their members just the way capitalism does.

Join communities of like-minded people, but you don’t have to participate in a structured religious group/church if you don’t believe in God, or even if you do.
