I gotta say, why do you have to bring Shannon into your article at all? It doesn't add to your article. It just makes you look nasty (calling her "Ms Monetized Death and Depression" when that's a very simplistic and misleading depiction of what she writes about).

You could have just wrote your article about the multifaceted causes of obesity and left it at that. Why do you have to refer to Shannon? Because we all know that's who you're talking about.
